Why look after your spine?
Almost all of us will suffer from back pain at some point in our lives. Looking after your spine by incorporating the Straighten Up Alberta program in your daily routine may reduce the frequency and impact of common back pain problems.

Poor spinal health can impact the nervous system, which runs inside our spine, limiting our capability of living normal, active lives.

What contributes to bad posture?

  • Poor sitting and standing habits
  • Obesity
  • Poor work environment
  • Pregnancy
  • Weak core muscles (abs)
  • High-heeled shoes
  • Tight muscles; decreased flexibility
